Misheard Lyrics:
And when my shawl was in the lost and found

Original Lyrics:
And when my soul was in the lost and found
You came along to claim it.
If you listen to Aretha's original version of the song, she actually does put a very slight 'H' sound on the 'S' in 'soul' - every now and then it still sounds like 'shawl' to me.
