This was originally a Dean Martin song which Shaft changed slightly. Dean Martin sings more verses with different lyrics, instead of the repetitive Shaft. Where the singer in this version says 'Laps the shore', Dean Martin sings 'Hugs the shore', and instead of 'Hold me close' he said 'Pull me close'
