This lyric is actually in the book 'Catch a Fire'. This lyric is frequently misquoted on lyric web boards. Most people think it is Slide-A-Ville but that makes no sense. There is no town named Slide-A-Ville in Jamaica. The true lyric is Sligoville, a town in Jamaica, that Mr. Brown travelled to from Mandeville, another town in Jamaica.
