Misheard Lyrics:
Vernon will meet me when the Boeing lands.
Original Lyrics:
Vernon will meet me when the BOAC lands.
BOAC was short for British Overseas Airways Corporation, which later became British Airways. You could, of course, still use 'Boeing' since they did and do fly Boeing aircraft.
