Misheard Lyrics:
She's a maniac, maniac, at your door.
Original Lyrics:
She's a maniac, maniac, I sure know.
There is an urban legend about this song (not sure if true) that it was originally written by Sembello as a song about a slasher/murderer. Presumably he modified the lyric when he got the Flashdance gig. This second chorus phrase 'at your door' may be a remnant of that original lyric.
