Misheard Song Lyrics -> Stories -> Insane Clown Posse

Misheard lyrics (also called mondegreens) occur when people misunderstand the lyrics in a song. These are NOT intentional rephrasing of lyrics, which is called parody. For more information about the misheard lyrics available on this site, please read our FAQ.

This page contains a list of the songs that have stories about their misheard lyrics submitted.

Song names are sorted by first letter, excluding A and The. This is sorted by song title only, not by song title and performer. So if two different performers preformed the same song, you'll see misheard lyrics for both on the same page (provided the song title was spelt the same both times, and misheard lyrics have been submitted for both!).

Bizaar album at
Insane Clown Posse's, "Hokus Pokus"
The Misheard Lyrics:
Hokus pokus f***ing mind
The Real Lyrics:
Hokus pokus jokers ride
The Story: This is how my father sang it while he was drunk. He always mishears song lyrics. - Submitted by: Brady of the Kaelins
Insane Clown Posse's, "Terrible"
The Misheard Lyrics:
You don't know what's terrible you will
As soon as Iraqis come over the hill.
The Real Lyrics:
You don't know what's terrible you will
As soon as our wagons come over the hill.
The Story: That's what I really thought they were saying. I thought that because the song is basically about hypes how much media they get and how the stupid things get less than the big things (i.e. Clinton and Lewinsky). My friend informed I was wrong and explained that the wagons are what take you to Hell. Even if the real one sounds better, mine stays true to the rest of the song. - Submitted by: Evan Anderson
