Misheard Lyrics -> Song -> W -> What You're Doing

Misheard lyrics (also called mondegreens) occur when people misunderstand the lyrics in a song. These are NOT intentional rephrasing of lyrics, which is called parody. This page contains all the misheard lyrics for What You're Doing that have been submitted to this site and the old collection from inthe80s started in 1996. For more information about the misheard lyrics available on this site, please read our FAQ.

The Beatles', "What You're Doing"
Misheard Lyrics:
You've got me running
And, there's point in it.
Original Lyrics:
You've got me running
And, there's no fun in it.
These lyrics were misheard by whomever was transcribing them for The Beatles' cartoon show, for that is how they appeared in the 'sing-along' segment. (Editor's note: "Fun" is the correct word, not "point"; I have heard the recording and it clearly sounds like "fun", and lyrics sites confirm it. So this should end any dispute.)
