I was barely 17 when the song was released on July 25, 1970 and was probably just old enough to know what a Victrola...although there likely were kids younger than me that knew but that depended upon, for the most part, as to whether your folks or grandfolks had one or ever mentioned one in conversation as no one was playing them any more even back then over 45 years ago, now.
