Greg Munford was in the studio when SAC recorded this song. He was a guitarist with another band and both were managed by the same manager as SAC. The group agreed that none of them sounded good on the lead vocal and Munford was asked to give it a try. His vocal is the one on the recording with the actual members of SAC at the time providing all the backing vocals. Munford joined SAC on the road but left the music field soon after.
