or
Don't need a pinhead, just to hang around
or

Don't need a penny, just to hang around
But if you have a nickel, lay your money down
I've heard several DJ's comment that they couldn't understand what the significance of a pinhead is in this song. The correct lyrics seem to make more sense. Thanks to the several people who knew the real lyrics here.

Blinky thumps the gut bass and solos for a while.
Out in the street
Billy and the poor boys are sayin'
Sayin' those new girls can't be beat
Out in the street
Willie and the Poorboys are playin'
Bring a nickel, tap your feet
The devil's in Duluth
Doubles on kazoo.
Where the Pump Boys are playin',
Where you'll meet those happy feet
Willy and the Poor Boys are playin',
Grab a nickel, tap your feet
Where the dough boys are playin'
And they nick those happy feet
Willy and the Poor Boys are playing
Bring a nickel, tap your feet.
Where the old boys are playin'
And you n****r can't be beat
Willie and the Poor Boys are playin'
Bring a nickel, tap your feet
Whilly and the pump boys are to blame
Go the distance, show your teat
Willy and the poor boys are playin'
Bring a nickel, tap your feet

Willy goes into a dance and doubles on kazoo.
