The message of the song convicted me to show the love of Jesus even to people I would not normally reach out to. But, whenever the part of the song came along that I misheard, it would always bother me not knowing what the actual word was. I knew the lyrics did not included profanity, but no matter how many times I listened to the song, I always heard 'damn.' Until one day when it finally dawned on my wife they were saying 'them.' Now I can enjoy the song to its fullest.
