Song Parodies -> Recordings -> Professor Incubus, 'Fast Train To AARPville' Comments

Aug 29
a parody of "Last Train To Clarksville" by The Monkees
I recently turned 50 and so I got this idea for a parody. Those of you who are 50 or older are gonna relate to this parody. It's all about AARP and how they badger you to join up.

Liked the song. Good use of Monkees tune. You did one for me a while back (Gnostic Believer). By the way, everything in that song was true. Do you still have any of the recordings you made for me? I would like to send them to my brother. He wants to have some of my parodies recorded, using the karaoke method you used. AARP is always trying to get me to join in exchange for a tote bag. Reminds me of the NRA. Haven't been a member for years, but they still call me wanting donations. Guess Wayne Lapierre needs a new car.
