"I Wanna Blow Up Saddam" by Spaff.com" a parody of "Soak Up the Sun" by Sheryl Crow
This was written and recorded in March, which, in dogs-of-war years, is forever ago. But, hey, if the guy's still alive... - Vocals by Robert Lund

I was against the war (or at least, against blowing the place to smithereens and then leaving it to dystopic anarchy), but I totally agree with the sentiment that Saddam's a dickhead :D Wonderful parody, nicely done.
Thanks, Sweets. And thanks especially for introducing me to the lovely word dystopia. I can't wait to unleash it on someone.

I liked the original virsion but i love this one way more! it gets me mad when people dis bush and the war and my dad is in iraq so i really apreciated this song!
Although I'm decidely anti-war, this is just a good parody! I might have changed the line about his son Uday, and I didn't catch onto the "Bushed and Powelled" thing at first. My favourite part (even though I don't agree) was: "What's with Germany and France [ . . . ] Maybe we should get them too!" Good stuff.
Thanks, Cassie. Larbrokur: If you're still tuned in, thank you for taking the time to listen to my songs and to and offer genuine feedback on them. I sincerely appreciate your comments.

Thanx, Pincky. Sorry I've been such a slacker on the Recordings comments.
