Could you give a YouTube link to what version you base these parodies on? I've tried three different ones on YouTube before, and though they do get me the geist of the song/commercial enough to trust you on pacing they don't seem to match in lenght. Also, because I'm european it's possible that using the search field on YouTube give me different hits on a subject like a commercial. No biggie, just saying.

NP Peter. Max started using these in his offbeat, unpaced, mis-rhyming manner. Zest Soap is a commercial jingle in various forms, like most products (think evolving Coke and Pepsi songs). My version is the standard version, modified as I see fit, usually modified rhymes, changing syllabic count, and adding last comments. With TV commercials I don't think one needs to a purist. I try to stick to the song structure as close as possible and hit the major rhymes. But most of my material is too detailed to fit the lines and syllabic count. I just add to them. Max doesn't seem to follow any rules with his.
