William Blake? Your literacy is showing. Nice reworking, but as a non-American I don't get the connections. DNC = Democrat National Convention, and Charlotte is the venue? I think one Jerusalem is more than enough. And the western desert has already spawned one major religious cult too many. That much I know.
Yeah it was the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte; they voted to remove a plank from the platform that called for Jerusalem to remain undivided as the capital of Israel. Republicans threatened to pounce, so Obama intervened and the Democrats put the Jerusalem plank back in, much to the chagrin of the many Arab-American delegates who were present at the convention.
