I have served the U.S. Army on active duty for 6 years and the Army National Guad for 5 years. I once worked a civilian job with a gentleman who had served in the regular Army during the Vietnam War. This gentleman had a mis-conception that the only thing National Guard Soldiers do during drill weekend is drink beer in the woods. I wrote this parody as a joke to make fun of his assuptions. Note: The Army song is to the tune of "The Caissons Go Rolling Along" by Brigadier General E.L. Gruber
