Parody Song Title:

"Born This Date"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

"Born This Date"

Born this date (3/24)
and one year more I'll aggregate, but I'm not late ...
glad to see this date.

Born this date in St. Loo-ee, MO,
(state-mate of late great unshod Joe), couldn’t wait
until ’48 ...

This date, 1947,
my mom did celebrate
to have her belly “unleavened”
and to shed a half-stone of weight,

for I was

born this date as were Houdini,
Norman Fell, and Steve McQueen. We can’t o’errate
this very august date.

Born this date … Who cares? Well, I do,
and, dear readers, I invite you to create
a “Happy Birthday!” spa-a-a-a-ate.

Say “Happy Birthday, mate!”

Don’t wait!

Fo my dad-in law he passed about a year before I met my wife. We still like to remember birthdays here just the same. Thanks.

My thanks to M'Lady. I shall tell my better half of your best wishes for her.

2Eagle -- it occurs to me that the specificity with which you see to remember this old tune suggests you've a strong and specific (and, I hope, positive) memory associated with it. Do tell all ... maybe in a relyricked tune! :-)

(I wish I had a dime for every time during kidhood I cursed what seemed my born-too-late fate. I guess I should be glad that now in my dotage I'm not constantly cursing a born-too-soon fate. OTOH, that may simply be the evidence that I'm in my dotage.) :-)

A belated Happy Birthday to you Stan.
My research indicates that you also share your birthday with Fatty Arbuckle, Bob Mackie and Star Jones(among others).

How closely do you fit your astrological profile ? Aries.

Sorry...I tried to post a link but it didn't work :-(

Merci, IB. Yeah, a little looking turns up a lot of 3/24-ers, tho' I've never ranked alleged child-molester Arbuckle among the most boastable of the lot. :-)
As for astrological aptness, I probably fit my sign as well as anyone does his/hers, given the wiggle room the profiles always include. Actually, I kind'a prefer the Chinese version, which makes me a fire-pig. Pigs have always been a personal favorite, both on the hoof and on the platter, and a bit of fire exposure is best before one appears in the latter circumstance. :-)
