The Lyrics

After an 11 year old Boy Scout tells a game show assistant, “Boy, you’re terrific cheesecake!” on national television, what happens when he goes back to his parents? This may provide an answer.
Here goes, mouth filled with soap...
Do I regret what I said,
Nope, that thrill I won’t soon forget,
Here goes, it’s cruel...

After us Scouts had fun,
Parents asked me what’d I say,
Said, “Boy, you’re terrific cheesecake!”
I broke their rules,

I know I had a reason...
“Roxanne”’s looks aren’t out of season,
I didn’t fool!
They think I’m crazy, I love her so,
But when the soap’s in, you’ve got to go,

So! Here goes, it’s cruel...

I’m sure everyone has had their mouth washed out with soap at least once — and the 11-year-old Boy Scout mentioned here is no exception. Did he deserve it? Hard to say. It must have felt very difficult to be in that position...

I just noticed you filed this parody under “The husband of Doris Robbins” and not “Ben Pollack”. Very clever if intentional!
