The Lyrics

Here is the song about all 300 boy scouts that came from the 1951 broadcast of "Beat the Clock". Special thanks to George & Germaine Briant.
Beating the clock, beating the clock, baby
Oh, I love you so

300 boy scouts make a lovely night
But not as loud as you heard tonight (as your eyes tonight) (Oh)
See out Roxanne, make your wish come true
For I'll be wishing that elephants came in, too (that elephants came in, too)

We're watching 300 (300)
But you're my elderly ladies (you're my elderly ladies)
You're the greatest, heartwarming boys I've ever seen (I've ever seen) (OH!)

300 boy scouts in my night will watch
Please say Boy you're terrific cheesecake! (You're terrific cheesecake)

We're watching 300 (300)
But you're my army of boys (you're my boys)
Oh, you're the largest, biggest boysl I've ever seen (I've ever seen) (OH!)

300 boy scouts in the world will watch
For ever and ever for beat the clock so (for beat the clock so)
For beat the clock so!
The greatest moment in TV and human history ever!

You want to talk about 300 Boy Scouts? In 1922, 300 Boy Scouts convened at Haines Acres in East York, Pennsylvania to parade and drill a century ago, but it was advertised as a rodeo! Yes, this was 29 years before the “other” event that you have written about recently, but it is worth mentioning as well. Also, make sure to vote! Or not.
