The Lyrics
The Sandman (Wesley Dodds) was an old DC hero that originated in the 1930s. He was a chemist that wore a green business suit, a fedora, and a WW1 gas mask. Having developed several potent knock-out gases, he carries a gas gun with him as well as gas pellets in his shoe heels in case his gun is taken away. He is called Sandman b/c he had an encounter with an entity called The Dream that gives him prophetic visions. He then uses his keen intellect to work as amatuer detective and stop crimes.
