Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Big Brother"

Parody Written by:

Phil Alexander

The Lyrics

[Spoken (in a very Terry Scott schoolboyish voice)]
Phorr, there's something funny on telly? What is it?
Oh, it's not *that* kind of funny, you say.
It's gonna 'ave the truth told about it and put on record.
'Ere, I'm not gonna watch this pile of {bleep!}, I've just 'ad my breakfast. Thank you.

[Sung]
What's a building full of freaks,
The show 'bout which everyone speaks?
What goes on for ****ing weeks?
Big Brother!
What's broadcasting endless shite?
Every single bloody night?
What, well, simply isn't right?
Big Brother!

Big Brother, it should take the blame
For making known Jade Goody's name
Big Brother's just a stupid game
Big Brother's bollocks.
What show's nearly *all* defects?
Leaves contestants mental wrecks?
Whatta guys watch, in case there's sex?
Big Brother!

[Spoken]
You wanna see on YouTube. Phorr, what a surprise.
No one could tell what it was really, but everybody 'ad a jolly good idea.
'Cos they got these infra-red cameras on in the bedroom, Phorr!
They never show it on telly, but it goes all round the internet
When I say "all round", I mean up and down. Phorr!
My mate says they get up at night before they get up in the morning

[Sung]
What show always is the same?
What gains negative acclaim?
What is terminally lame?
Big Brother!
What should C4 not transmit?
What's *not* racist, not a bit!?
What is basic'ly plain s**t?
Big Brother!

I don't know quite what it contains
That saps the power of viewers' brains
No wonder everyone complains...
...but you know they won't take any notice of that, don't ya?

Who calls their show "Celebrity"
Then it gets won by a nonentity?
[Spoken]
They always vote out females first - Sada, Penny, Lynne ..
Anouska from Big Brother 2003 ... Vanessa from Big Brother 2004,
Mary from Big Brother 2005 ...Bonnie from Big Brother 2006, Shabnam
Big sexist, racist Brother

Come on, come on mate, let's turn this telly off
while you've still got some brains left to think with... Phorr!!

Used to watch this show when it first came out, but you're right..pretty lame these days

Have to admit that this time around I was tempted to try and get on the show as the person who tells the audience they're stupid and should be watching something else (and presumably would tell the other contestants something similar), and see how long I lasted. But it's really not worth the hassle.

Phil, that would have made my summer (if I could get the England version somehow to see you). Great job with the song too =)
