This is pretty good. About 30 years ago I heard a different version, and I can remember some of the words. Maybe you could use them for additional verses: A pickled herring and some hot pastrami, A chopped tomato with some cold salami, The heartburn that it brings These Jewish things remind me of you. The celebratin' that you know I'm dreading The violinist at your sister's wedding Long weekends in Palm Springs These Jewish things remind me of you.
