The last 7 of 7 concerning the Votan races of the game and tv show "Defiance." Recap: Votanis System was to be destroyed in centuries- discovered by the Indogenes who built Ark Ships to save what they could. 6 races were to board: the Castithans and Indogene from Daribo, the Irathients, Liberata, and Sensoth from Irath, and the Gulanee from Gula. A 7th non-humanoid alien race of rototech war beings named the Volge snuck aboard from Omec. They arrived on Earth in 2013 and at first there was a slow settlement on Earth until the Votan Ambassador to the UN was assassinated. Then, the Pale Wars were fought for a decade until an Armistice was signed. But something happened within the "Arkbelt" around Earth with a tremendous explosion that killed millions of aliens and scattered debris around the planet. Unfortunately, terrafroming tech plummeted to the Earth and reformed it, making it new to all. The city of St. Louis has been renamed Defiance where all the races try to live in harmony and with mutual understanding. Joshua Nolan and his Irathient daughter Irisa are the Lawkeeper and Deputy. Castithans are ambitious, Irathients are sometimes violent, the Liberata are servants, the Sensoth are largely bodyguards, the Indogene are the doctors and scientists, the Gulanee are mysterious and keep to themselves... and the Volge are the enemies of all. Earth Miltary Command and the Earth Republic created Bio-Marines for use against the aliens, so they are an 8th presence in the New World.
