Song Parodies -> "Ten Savage Children"

Original Song Title:

"Ten Little Indians"

Original Performer:

Septimus Winner

Parody Song Title:

"Ten Savage Children"

Parody Written by:

Wild Child JIN

The Lyrics

Well, the 10 savage children are here Rob, just like you wanted! ;-)
One savage child stirring his stew

Along came another and then there were two

Two savage children playing savagely

Another joined the fun and now that makes three

Three savage children hunting wild boar

One came to help and now that makes four

Four savage children savage and alive

One jumps from a tree and now there is five

Five savage children making spears from sticks

Another brings some blades and now there is six

Six savage children traveling with their weapons

Another joins with his and now that makes seven

Seven savage children out hunting late

They meet up with one more and now there is eight

Eight savage children getting ready to dine

Along comes a hungry one and now there is nine

Nine savage children sleeping in the den

Another lays down with them and that makes ten

Ten savage children in the rock wall they inscribe

Now that we’re together, we are our own tribe.
Some nice "little" comments would be nice, it would be excellent, if I had more than "ten!" ;-)

Congrats are in order for me today! This celebrates my 100th parody on this site, strictly as Wild Child JIN, excluding the original name I posted under, but counting it, I have 111 parodies to date! If they were added all together! :-)

Thank You Rob for your vote and comment! Yes, adding the savage children was to me a better idea, because there is more safety in greater numbers! ;-)

After a little research, I found that Septimus Winner was the one who originally wrote the stage musical variation of Ten Little Indians, the original Ten Little Indians, just counts up the indians, then counts them down, but Septimus Winner's version actually gives a nasty fate to each one of them. So I thought rather than doing something sick like that, I'd make them all alive and well, and stick together, as ten savage children! :-)

I do like the approach of the savages coming together to form a tribe. I wish someone would try that with one of those "Survivor" reality shows. In a real life survival situation, success would be measured by the number who made it through the crisis, not how many were eliminated.

Precisely, that's why I did not eliminate any of the children, I added them together so that they would survive. ;-)
