The Lyrics

As a REP this came as no surpise, but it still pains me. If you re-read what I wrote earlier this year, I predicted this- that Romney would come close, but never had the votes to win. Obama would win again, but not by a landslide and that he did at 8:18 PST here in Blue-state Cali by capturing Ohio. Romney NEVER had the majority of swing states nor the votes of a long-list of people: Blacks, Gays, Women, and Hispanics...not even the majority of Indies. So I knew he would fall short no matter what. So 4 more years of Middle Class struggle and big Govt. spending. Slow growth and few new jobs created. Robbing Medicare to fund Obamacare (which is still in reality illegal and unconstitutional no matter how that traitor voted). The only good news is that Israel is now MORE likely to attack Iran unilaterally under Obama than with a supportive REP President and Israel stated that again on 11/5/12 ahead of the election.
Barack re-election news
second time

Republicans have got the blues
Romney no-win
Despite the votin’

I know I can’t stand it
Another time ‘round
Economy shaky
I just know he’s gonna let us down

[Deficit spending- we’re Third World bound]

Barack re-election news
second time
Libs fine

Hate his views
Hate his views
Hate his views
His mediocrity
He doesn’t care
About you nor me
Talks “Recovery”

[A fallacy]

He’s lazy
Barack re-election news
second time
(But hey- it’s a democracy)

… sigh…

What mystifies me is that John McCain got 65 million votes in 2008, one of the three lowest points for Republicans since the end of WWII. And John McCain was a terrible candidate who was a total misfit for the circumstances created by the panic of September 2008. Moreover, Obama proved that the misgivings about him in '08 were well founded which is why he lost 9 million votes. So how is it humanly possible that Romney would have seven million votes fewer than McCain? .. You talk about problems with blacks, Hispanics, gays, etc but McCain had those same problems

Easy. He counted on winning the swing states and most of the Indie vote to make up for the Lib States with the high electorial votes and all the groups that didn't like him. For instance, he needed at least 40% of the Hispanic vote and he didn't get it. Had he picked Rubio instead of Ryan that might have improved things. But he spent too much time flip-flopping on issues and was obviously NOT the Conservative he pretended to be even with the Ryan pick meant to appease the Tea Party and other Far-Right REPS. I am Far-Right of the Right and NEVER bought it for a moment. Obama capitalized on the auto industry come-back, the last jobs creation numbers, killing Osama, appealing to minority groups of all kinds... and STILL putting the blame for his 4 year failures domestically on GWB!!! I know it sounds ridiculous not to have any accountability for his own failed domestic policies and lengthy vacation/campaigning time-wasting... but its far easier just to blame an easy target. If Obama could run for a third term in 2016 I'd bet he'd still blame GWB AND the House REPs for his socialist agenda of Big Govt buying votes with welfare checks. I think we're screwed royally....

Who says he won't run for a third term in 2016? Scary to watch a once great nation commit suicide. The triumph of the surveillance state. Obama care means the end of full-time jobs as small businesses make adjustments to avoid the massive expenses involved. That trend is already in evidence. No jobs. How are people going to pay for the mandatory insurance?

How is it humanly possible that Romney would have seven million votes fewer than McCain? Because McCain was merely wrong, not dishonest, while Romney is the biggest liar who’s ever run for President. Obama didn’t blame his failures on Bush, because Obama didn’t fail. There is a difference between failure and sabotage. It’s the difference between the Titanic and the Lusitania. And Obama STILL turned the economy back in the right direction. And Rob, you look like a damn FOOL for talking about Obama’s vacations when Bush spent two years’ worth of days on vacation. You know what Obama did on his April 2011 vacation? Ordered the killing of bin Laden and, for all intents and purposes, killed Donald Trump, too, by proving for once and for all who the “real American” was. If Obama were a “socialist,” the energy companies, the insurance companies, and Wal-Mart would be nationalized, and their profits confiscated – thus balancing the budget. (Okay, that last part’s an exaggeration.) “Surveillance state”? Hello, look who Obama replaced! You know how small businesses are going to adjust? By taking in the INCOME from customers who are getting jobs now that the rich WILL be paying their fair share. Then paying for health insurance will be easy – and then, once we got Medicare-for-all, not at all!

Sorry Mike but I'm no fool. Stats vary but Reagan took 112 days off in first term vs 180 for GWB vs 243 for Obama. But when you add campaigning while in office this jumps to over 400 days for Obama. GWB in TWO terms took 490 days total AFAIK!!! Obama also beats Reagan and GWB for golf days and basketball game attendance!!!

Also, DEMs count ALL days GWB spent at the Ranch as vacation when a lot of them were working days with staff.
Callmelennie - November 08, 2012 - Report this comment
Moreover, Bush's vacations were always on a property he owned; hence no need to bill taxpayers hundreds of thousands in hotel bills as was the case with Michelle Obama. Further moreover, these vacations weren't occurring in times of steep recession as the President was demanding that citizens make sacrifices.

How does taking money from so-called "rich" people help Wal-Mart. When you spend money at Wal-Mart, you get food, clothing, appliances, stuff you want and can use. When the government takes your money, you get wars, bailouts of economically unviable enterprises, more bureaucratic interference with your life. If Obama were really the change from Bush that people claim they voted for, he would have brought the troops home from Afghanistan now, ended the surveillance state, and made a greater effort to avert a war between Israel and Iran. If that war breaks out, there will be gas lines across the country and prices for everything will climb out of sight.

Nice predictions, Patrick, but it's not so difficult to predict what's already happened. In fact, war is already broken out in Afghanistan, as you noted; also in Libya, Yemen, Pakistan, and possibly several other countries since our government's not accountable to us anymore concerning where it's sending those drones. Gas lines? See New York and New Jersey for the first few sprinkles in that snot storm (not that $4+/gallon gasoline in some places isn't bad enough already). Prices climbing out of sight? They're not out of sight yet, but they're certainly climbing and it's only a matter of time. By the way, I got a report yesterday that Boeing is trimming its staff, and I saw a headline today about 22 people in Vegas getting laid off in anticipation of the small business at which they work having to pay heftier taxes. We never really left this recession, and what our enemedia called a recovery is nothing more than the eye of this perfect financial storm; the other wall of it hits soon. Expect to see many more such "now they tell us" tales of woe in the days and weeks and months to come. I already saw this country's financial doom coming before the election. The only difference this election makes to my predictionis that this doom will be coming upon us much more quickly, and history WILL accurately attribute it to the ones responsible even though our Left-of-Stalin-propagandists-posing-as-newsmen will try to blame their party's failures on the Republicans as usual.

Len my boy, I remember when Obama started off with 'date nights' with Michelle and then the expensive overseas trips (more vacation than serving this nation), and finally several years of campaigning on the job (just as he did when Senator). Obama is a joke supported by liberal clowns that don't care if he turns the USA into the USB (United States of Bankruptcy). I'm an old timer, so I hope to see the grave before Blockhead O'Bigmouth gives us a standard of living equal to his native Kenya!
