The Lyrics

By the end of WW2 the Germans were not only stealthing their U-boats against sonar but also starting to build stealth aircraft with the Horten Ho-IX (production Gotha Go-229). Although the materials used for both were adequate, anti-radar paint was needed for U-boats when operating on the surface. The Kriegsmarine developed a bituminous carbon-loaded dielectric paint called Schornsteinfeger (Chimney Sweep- 'cause it looked like soot) for use on the conning tower. The Luftwaffe then aquired some for use on the stealth fighter's engine inlets and wing leading edges. It worked by trapping the radar signal and dampening any return. The paint was never used in WW2 but led to the US "Ironball" anti-radar paint used on the U-2 after Powers was shot-down over the USSR.
Anti-radar paint use
HO-IX

“Chimney Sweep” for Luftwaffe use
Thick applyin’
Radar denyin’

Flying wing needed it
Carbon loading sound
Meant for inlets and wings
Would dampen return signal down

[Dielectric would scatter around]

Anti-radar paint use
HO-IX
Applied

For dual use
For dual use
For dual use
With German jets and subs
In sea or air
Allies would not see
Allowed attack runs

[Masked approach with guns]

Stealthily
Anti-radar paint use
HO-IX
(led to “Ironball” for U-2 secretly)
Ho spelled with CAPS pronounced H-O for syllabic match (not read as Horten)! Reads H-0 IX...

Wonder if someone could duplicate this paint for use on cars.

I know that there have been some attempts at using primitive RAM for car bodies to scatter police radars and electronic countermeasures, so why not...???
