The Lyrics

Just before WW2 began the Nazis funded an expedition to Antarctica and staked-out land that belonged to Norway (Queen Maud Land). They planted the Nazi flag and claimed all the territory as New Swabenland. They left, but by 1941 commerce raiders had dropped off mining equipment and supplies to build a base in the Muhlig-Hoffmann mountains. Argentina, which was supposed to be neutral but helped the Nazis throughout the war ALSO declared territory at the same time the Nazi base was completed. A German disc craft (RFZ-2) had been spotted near one of the commerce raiders (Atlantis) and so the British took commandos from S.O.E. and called them Wraiths. Their job was to investigate the German base and capture technology the Nazis were developing from a combination of Metaphysics, Quantum Physics, Tesla's captured works, and German engineering led by a special technical branch of the SS- E.IV as well as the Ahnenerbe (Nazi Occult Bureau). The British established a presence there and even issued a postage stamp! American troops would follow later having captured German troops in Greenland and near the Artic (where Point 103 was supposed to be located). So we have a weird war going on inside of WW2. Although Nazi Germany surrendered on May 8, 1945 under second Fuhrer Doenitz, Base 211 did not presumably under SS General Kammler. Rumors of continued disc development and German bases in Antarctica as well as S America persisited after VE-Day so that by 1947 the US initiated "Operation Highjump"- a carrier task force with 4000 troops to spy on New Swabenland and attack any Nazi leftovers. The mission was to last 8 mos but ended in 8 weeks. Several aircraft and helos were lost, claimed due to bad weather. But Admiral Byrd claimed that he made contact with Nazis and was shown advanced technologies. Several hours are missing from the archive footage and Byrd's diary was confiscated after he made comments to the S American press about Nazi UFOs. He was also put in a military mental hospital to shut him up. Two more operations conducted by the British and Americans are kept quiet and are omitted from Antarctic history books. This parody deals with a Wraith sent to Base 211 to investigate. 67 years later and the rumors still persist of Base 211...

Ice mines refers to the German winter warfare tactic of freezing bottles of water and inserting a detonator to be tripped causing anti-personnel fragmentation. Strange barriers refers to unseen energy fields blocking aircraft and helos from approaching areas around the mountains (this device is listed as EM Wave Weapon by US Intel in certain declassified documents from 1944-45).
