Here's a joke I saw in a comic strip sometime after 9/11. Therew ere tow men in a bar and one of them said how the U.S. should bomb the terrorists back to stone age and his friend replies, "They're already there." It sums up the situations in regards to the troubles in Middle Eastern and North African world. Not to mention the U.S. shown mroe respect to Osama's corpse than the Libyans have shown to the ambassador.

Also there is a unrelated trivia I would like to throw out. The IOC refuses to honor the victims of the 1972 massacre because they didn't want to offend their arab friends. Tells you something.

Max, you actually are 100% right- no joke. Conventional carpet bombing of targets in Afghanistan fails b/c the USAF just ends up rearranging rock formations. Afghanistan is a dirt nation with plenty of underground tunnels and caves to hide in. Helos can sweep for insurgents but they can be countered by simple RPGs and heavy MG fire. So the "Nintendo Jockeys" hundreds of miles away in safety use the drones to spy and primitive UCAVs like the Predators, Reapers, and Avengers to kill Talis and Al Qaida. The only problem is that collateral damage is often high turning tribal villages into smoldering mounds of women and children, elderly men and young boys. For every terrorist killed on average around 10+ innocent civilains have to die. So, no surgical strikes for that region. And it doesn't matter b/c the recruits are never-ending as they hate the US and Israel (Imperialist Infidels and Zionists). A no-win situation... and 12 years in- disgraceful.
