The idea of operating on animals and packing their stomachs with explosives to kill an enemy is NOT new at all. During WW2 the Germans planned such things but their animal rights laws prevented military animals other than trained dog sniper scouts and dog mines (except that unlike the Soviet equivalent the German dogs placed sachel charges and were recovered)! But postwar, both the CIA and Mossad explored this idea. Mossad, however, has put it into action since the 1990s. They typically perform surgery on a goat or dog and then let the explosive-laden animal near the terrorist hide-out or meeting place (which can be a location or dwelling). The animals linger about and are trained to follow a laser to the target. A Mossad field operative points the laser towards the target, leading the animal and then when it is right on top of them or wanders into a building it is remotely detonated! The Israelis also pose as telephone repairmen to place explosive-laden devices in phone receivers so that when a terrorsit takes a call routinely he can be blown-up as well! It has worked time after time!!!
