Under increasing threat to their security over an Iranian nuclear weapon and hardening of facilities to create a "Zone of immunity", Israel is moving forward with plans to attack Iran unilaterally. President Obama, a fool, suggests that Israel wait it out as sanctions take place, and asks for more time. Time is a luxury Israel doesn't have as Iran scoffs at the West over sanctions and prepares to take military action in the Straight of Hormuz, possibly mining it or attacking ships. Iran is also supplying Syria with weapons and support for Assad's assault on his own people and might come to Syria's aid if the regime is truly threatened. Iran continues to support Hezbollah as well against Israel. In Israel, the threat is very real with Israelis pushing for a pre-emptive strike. US Jews meanwhile are pressuring Obama to support Israel fully... but Obama wants to push non-effective sanctions anyway over the security of the Jewish State. Activity at Tel Nof suggests that the Israelis are close to mounting an intense air campaign and have advised the US that it will NOT consult over a unilateral raid or campaign against Iran. Good for them. Although sources claim that even with a bomb it still would take 3 years to develop a new missile system for it, that's nonsense as it could be mounted on a simple IRBM that they already possess and launched. Or it could be smuggled in by terrorists and detonated in Tel Aviv or Haifa... maybe even Jerusalem!
