With last night's debate, it became apparent that Rick Santorum had the most to lose with Florida and so he went all-out in focusing on the issues and ignoring much of the mud-slinging personal attacks by Newt and Mitt. Ron Paul generally avoids that type of aggressive behaviors as well, but has a comfortable third position with his supporters. Rick won in Iowa but has fallen to the bottom over the last 2 primaries. He needs a win with Florida or else he will start to fade, with some REPs calling for him to drop out of the race already. I think he did a fine job of sticking to the issues and about defeating Obama... but I personally do not care for him (I don't believe he can win the nomination nor defeat Obama in debates). We'll have to see if Santorum's fight for his relevence paid-off or not. Mitt and Newt now are locked into heated personal attacks over character and finance which just makes it harder for REPs to concentrate on the real enemy- Obama!
