The Lyrics

Re-submitted due to technical problems yesterday. Postwar, Argentina sought-out as many German aviation specialists as it could find to develop civil and military aircraft. These experts included Dr. Lippisch, Kurt Tank of Focke-Wulf, and Reimar Horten (of flying wing fame). Dr. Lippisch was too busy with aviation in the US (under Convair) and so none of his designs were built. However, many of the Horten wings were bult there as well as Tank's work on the Pulqui II jet fighter. Tank also went on to design an advanced jet airliner with a unique annular air intake, but Argentina lacked the aviation expertise and industry (not to mention costs) to build such an ambitious design. Sad...
The postwar Condor II
aircraft Argentine

S America airliner new
Tank was tryin’
For civil flyin’

Argentina wanted it badly
Airliner zippin’ round
Technology was costly
German engineers were found

The postwar Condor II
aircraft Argentine
Jet design

Big jet too
Big jet too
Big jet too
With an annular intake
Modern airliner
With plenty of seats
Too costly to make

Not to be
The postwar Condor II
aircraft Argentine
(Argentina lacked aviation industry)

This oddball never had a chance as it was too unorthodox. How the Argies thought they could make an airline industry is beyond me. The post-war Germans had a tough enough time with independent projects.

KB, during WW2 the Argentines (although neutral) re-supplied German U-boats at Tierra del Fuego and helped transfer the Nazis and German Volk out of the Third Reich into Argentina by covert means. they facilitated Odessa postwar and wanted to snub the US and Britain as well as S America by acquiring German technology. It is amazing how many aviation specialists they got as they attempted to go against the former Allies with weapons. But they lacked proper industry and in the end could only build project aircraft in prototypes. The Germans also tried to give them missile tech and whatever was part of the claimed nuclear project (some suspect it was the Bell Device). But the Germans ultimately went home except for the Nazis and German populations which grew over time. Last big cooperation with W Germany was over the TAM tank which TAMSE used as a platform for an IFV, CPV, 120mm mortar launcher, rocket launcher vehicle, and 155mm SPG!!!
