The Lyrics

The Junker Ju-287 Forward-swept wing bomber was very bizarre for its time. The LW wanted a high-speed bomber immune to Allied interception (like the Ar-234) but with a higher bomb load. So both the He-343 and Ju-287 were started as prototypes. Heinkel's 343, however, was cancelled and put into component storage while Junkers produced two prototypes the V1 and V2. The V1 flew well enough, but the V2 and partial V3 were captured by Soviet ground forces in 1945 and shipped back to the USSR for more testing. The Junkers team continued on with the V3 as Junkers EF-131 with podded cluster of 3 BMW 003 jet engines while the Junkers EF-140 was a more streamlined and practical twin jet aircraft. However, the Soviets rejected the FSW design and the original designer from Junkers-Hans Wocke postwar designed the Hansajet (HFB 320) business jet with FSW. Interestingly, the Soviets also experimented with FSW tech in WW2 with the Tsybin LL-2 and LL-3 aircraft, but rejected them too. One was to be rocket-powered!!! All the pics below are of the Ju-287 except the last two which are the EF-131 and EF-140...
Odd bomber of WW2
Junkers design

Junkers forward-swept wings were new
Wocke designin’
High-speed flyin’

Junkers four-engine jet
Jumos spinin’ ‘round
403 mph
Could carry 4.4 tons of bombs

Odd bomber of WW2
Junkers design
Flew fine

They built two
They built two
They built two
V3 to USSR
Gear was faired
Design was freaky
Was studied postwar

Funny (looking)
Odd bomber of WW2
Junkers design
(postwar Wocke designed the HFB 320)

Looks like a metal insect from the front!!!

The V3 forward would have been more conventional with either 3x BMW 003s in two cluster pods on the wings or 4x independent Jumo 004Cs.
