The Lyrics

By 1944 the IJA was looking for new AT weapons to defeat US amphibious assaults and tanks and turned to the Germans for help. The Germans sent technical drawings by U-boat but the Japanese were short on war materials, so they adapted the German design down to 45mm with a launch tube of 890mm fring a 5.3 kg bomb. The Japanese Pzf second version had a lengthened tube of 1000 mm and was was 57mm. Only the 45mm version was produced in small numbers and only used once in a futile Banzai charge on US amphibious forces. They were cut down and the mysterious weapon was shipped back to the US Army's Ordnance Dept. to examine. The 45mm weapon had a range of 30 meters with armor penetration capability of 120mm. Not bad from scratch... The Japanese also had produced a few Type 4 70mm versions of the American Bazooka and were working on a 90mm model!!!
Jap Panzerfaust was used
only one time

IJA wanted AT weapons new
Germans were providin’
Tech documents supplyin’

War situation demanded it
Fightin’ on the ground
45mm weapon was deadly
890mm long with 5.3 kg bomb

Jap Panzerfaust was used
only one time
In 1945

Few were used
Few were used
Few were used
Island defense charge
US wasn’t aware
Japanese secrecy
Second type 57mm large

For infantry
Jap Panzerfaust was used
only one time
(Banzai charge futility)

Seems like a powerful bazooka, I always wondered how they loaded those though. But great parody as always! 555! :-)

30 meters is closer than I like to stand to a big firecracker, let alone an enemy tank. And holding a single shot weapon throwing a bomb with a bursting radius that has to be longer that 30 meters. Whatever you think of their ideology, you have to admire the nerve it took for a trained soldier, or a last ditch civilian to go into battle with one of those. Oh, have you ever seen a Japanese pottery grenade?
