The Latin America Chupacabra legend started in the 1990s in Puerto Rico and spread to Mexico all the way down to Chile. Some believe the monster is from another world and discarded by UFOs. It's physical description varies, but is usually 3-4 ft tall with greenish-gray skin, rough to reptilian in texture, red glowing eyes, spines from neck to tail, claws, hops like a kangaroo, and feeds with fangs to hold with a piercing forked tongue that makes a three-hole incision shaped like an inverted triangle. The creature's saliva paralyzes its victims which have their blood drained and also some organs. When confronted, the Chupacabra emits a high screech noise and also secretes a sulfuric acid smelling susbstance, supposedly. Although thousands off sightings have been reported since 1995, in 2010 a claimed killed example turned out to be a coyote with parasites. Other kills were decomposed coyotes with parasites or deformed dogs... so no real proof.
