The Lyrics

Most people inaccurately believe that the Swastika and the Nazi Party Hakenkreuz are the same. Wrong. The Swastika has a long 5000 year history that originated in the Far East and is based on the Golden Sun wheel of good luck and fortune. It is aligned with nature and represents harmony and peace. The Hakenkreuz originated with the Thule Gesellschaft (Society) in 1919. Thule became the NSDAP (aka Nazi Party) in 1920 and joined with other occult groups like Vril and the DHvSS. Their symbol was substituted for Hitler's original Swastika idea from his "Mein Kampf" book (at that time 5 symbols were considered: runic, Thor's hammer, Hands of God, the Star Cross, and the Swastika). Hitler chose the Swastika and it was seen in the early Third Reich and also served as the first VW logo in a cog wheel. But when the flag appeared in 1934 the Swastika had been canted 45 degrees and represented the Hakenkreuz (Bent Cross) based on the Black Sun of the inner earth with the associated Vril power of magic. It is an occult symbol that is anti-nature and anti-Christian as well. The legs of the Black Sun wheel are also composed of SIG (victory) runes and an example of that wheel can be found at Wewelsberg Schloss, Himmler's castle where he had a religious Black Sun Order. So, the two symbols are quite different by time periods, sun wheels, and purpose...

So I see that you decided to compare the two, instead of writing two separate parodies, but either way, it is a great job! :-) take three 5's and pair them together, ;-)

TY WCJ for your comment. I WAS originally going to do the Hakenkreuz separately by itself but then decided to do the direct comparison. Black Sun mosiac at Wewelsburg Schloss: http://www.scrapbookpages.com/WewelsburgCastle/Photos/BlackSun.jpg http://www.scrapbookpages.com/WewelsburgCastle/Photos/NorthTower.jpg Known as the Obergruppenführersaal in German, or the Hall of Supreme Generals in English, this room on the ground floor of the North tower was designed with 12 pillars arranged in a circle like Stonehenge in England. It was designed to be used as a ceremonial hall for the top 12 generals in the Schutzstaffel or SS, the elite army of Germany in World War II.

A Telugu Indian girl I knew in college told me that the "swastika" is used frequently in India and it's a symbol of unity (that certainly ain't what the Nazis stand for!). However,it's drawn as a "mirror image" of the one weall know. She said it's still in use in India. Also, in what is now the American southwest some Native American nations like the Anasazi and Pima also used a similar symbol.

FWIW the Finns used it for their Air Force in World War 2 as well- the swastika, I mean.

During WW1, both the Allies and Germany plus Austria used the normal Swastika on their aircraft for good luck. But the Hakenkreuz is an occult symbol based on entirely different ideas and originating with Thule in 1919. It is neither a Swastika nor Akitsaws (backwards Swastika). Normally, the Swastika is facing left and rotates counter-clockwise while the Hakenkreuz is facing right, canted 45o, and rotates clockwise. The rotations represent movement in nature- centrepedal vs centrifugal. With nature and against. And the Hakenkreuz has been adopted by everyone from anarchists, to skin heads, to White Power groups, and even ME terrorists who hate Jews. The Swastika meanwhile in its normal appearance still stands for good luck and fortune, peace and harmony, aligned with nature.
