In N Africa, the Germans put camel poop to good use in three areas: 1) mixed with paint to camouflage armored vehicles, 2) Dried and used as fuel for heat stoves to make bread, and 3) to cure dysentery by producing Bacillus Subtilis in liquid and then capsule form.

For their part, the British in N Africa knew that German tankers thought camel poop was good luck and so ran over it with their tracks. Soon, camel dung-looking mines were manufactured. The Germans got wind of it and then only ran over previously tracked dung to which the British copied that as well for mines!!! Like something out of a Monty Python skit.

Actually, as it was, the Nazi scientists sent to N Africa to find a cure for dysentery observed Arab cures and were disgusted. When facing that problem, the Arabs would follow both camels and horses and eagerly scooped up the excrement to eat while warm. The scientists took samples and discovered BS. At first, they liquefied the dung and added artificial flavoring to help German troops drink it down. Later, they put it in capsule form which is still available today around the world!

Since this parody is about Germany and you seem to know so much about Deutschland. perhaps you may be able to locate this place on a map or tell me something about it.
I was in West Germany a ways back before the wall fell. I was with a party of about 12 co-workers and spent nearly an entire summer in country. We landed at Frankfurt Internation Airport, secured three rental cars and had to drive about an hour and a half to the Hunsruck area. Just minutes after the three vehicles left the airport we lost each other. None of us in the car I was in were ever there before, but we did manage to navigate our way to our destination.
A lot of the trip was on the Autobahn and every few kilometers we kept seeing these signs that said "Ausfahrt" with an arrow pointing the way. We never found Ausfahrt and it remains a mystery to me to this day.
Just where on earth is Ausfahrt?

You would have had to have been there. After seeing it for the 3rd time we all new it meant exit. We later bought tee shirts that said "Where the hell is Ausfahrt Germany?"
