The Lyrics
Not the earlier type, but the post-WW2 Jurek prototypes. Borrowing off the P-38, a Polish engineer who emigrated to Britain during WW2 envisioned a British version of the German Pistol, but slightly less complicated or costly. Jurek came up with an 8 shot light metal pistol with a twin linked locking system. It entered trials but was rejected as needing refinement. Jurek made 2 more prototypes which added a mag safety and used a tougher alloy framework. Still, the British Army chose the Browning High Poser instead. Gun below...

Wonder what kind of hoops he had to jump through just to get permission to build the prototype. Once saw a magazine test of the WWI era Webley automatic. The guy who wrote the article was only able to find 19 rounds of ammo, and had to pay $2.50 each for them. Very brief test, and not every round fired.

Nice looking. And the gun wasn't bad, either. Part TEC-9, part Reising, and part Ingram Model 6.
The woman is Hope Portocarrero, First Lady of Nicaragua and the SMG is an Ingram Model 5
