I grew up in the '70s when cooking with Crisco was popular. Like most moms, my mom insisted that all cooking grease go in the coffee can under the sink! I hated to get that greasy thing out and add more to the disgusting mix of bacon, sausage, hamburger, steak, etc... grease which often ran down the sides of the can. I just use hot water and dishwashing liquid. But moms back then didn't want to risk clogging pipes and a paid fat ass plumber in the kitchen.

Cleaning up greasy goo
Putrid slime

Aftermath of greasy foods
Meat was fryin'
Grease was flyin'

Down the drain losing battle
Mom's coffee can was bound
Hated dealing with that stuff
The awful smell and sizzling sound
(Remnants from the carnivore chow)
