The Lyrics

This song involves with anti-censorship and it's entirely fictional. It has references to groups of bad guys on anime and video games. The lyric, "They can hack through arcade games that we mostly play," is based on personal experience on playing DDR on PS2 in which Rhyan resetted the game when I was about to pick Dynamite Rave.
DJ Kaito's rockin' the charts
With Media Issue Pop Rock.

It's a netwok-opoly
A network-opoly.
Most of our favorite shows are banned by many network censors
Thanks to many evil greedy corporations

You mean Shin-Ra, Turks, Team Rocket, and Anten Seven?
They ban hit shows from Enigma to Escaflowne.
They can trash what we like, plus Invader Zim,
And they refuse to answer most of our complaint letters sent.
And there's stuff called VCP's.

What are VCP's?
They come from many power plants built by Shin-Ra, and Team
Rocket.
They can give you lots of sunburn that could hurt your own skin.
Here on the media,
Sometimes you hear anything bad about these evil corporations.

Like when Team Rocket was sued for cash?
How come?
Shin-Ra cancelled the Weird-Oh's, so they can have some more free
time.
And then it was boycotted for banning cool anime shows just to save
a dime.

There's a footnote just in case.
A footnote can tell you what folks today should've said.
If only the voices in my head would go away.

But the censors don't care.
They're all very happy.
Thanks to network welfare.
What's that now?

They get millions in subsidies
From TV networks.
It's supposed to promote shows,
But that's not how it works.

They make tax on our favorites
So they coud get rich.
Refusal for paying that tax may cancel the shows.
They can hack through arcade games that we mostly play.
I hear Shin-Ra made the sword blade that killed poor Aeris.

If you refuse to pay tax on the shows that you mostly watch,
They might ban these shows.
That's what Team Rocket doesn't want you to know.

So the next ti...(3-second motonous beep)
Please stand by.
Please stand by.

By all means, technical difficulties
My opinions
somehow state that
a "Please Stand By",
Is just another part of Shin-Ra's big lie.

Why'd they take Escaflowne away?
Maybe because it has tax we didn't pay.
Plus Digimon's overruled.
Please don't be fooled.
They think Season 3 is better than Season 2.
