As mentioned in the song, I am retiring as of October 1. My school system in the meantime is using me a roving substitute teacher until my thirty-six days are completed. It is a different type of work for me, and the result is that I'm letting my offerings here slip. ;D
I'm back to school, but in different ways
I can retire after thirty-six days
So in the meantime I'm subbing

If I'm writing much less frequently
'Though sub work is tiring
I still have my wiring
Wound tight

Worn down by school
These - jobs and humor won't mix
I'm - losing my metric tricks
I - need a parody fix
To keep my wit pithy and light
But when October comes, I'll be back
I'll be the same crazy lovable hack
I'll bring my "A - Game" to play
I'll try three songs a day!
