I love bananas,
I said bananas..
But don't know why they sell 'em green
Can't some be sort of in between?
To illustrate here's what I mean:

Stopped at a fruit stand
To tweak my taste, and
Nothin' but Grinch fruit could be seen
I don't put down this locale
Savannah's home of my best gal.(but)

I'm sick from
That Green Banana
Got cramps in Savannah,
It really socked me down..
Go lights are green,
But that banana's greener
Color that'll mess up one's demeanor

I need some ripe ones,
Not emerald type ones
They do not make my day..
Might boat down to Jamaica, or fly there by air
Ripe bananas, in cabanas, bet they have 'em there

I prefer bright yellow,
