Parody Song Title:

"The Democrats, Man"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Who can spew rhetoric
making no sense?
CNN will spin a story, make it stick like glue

The Democrats Man
Oh the Democrats Man can
The Democrats can
'Cause they bitch about Bush
And they do absolutley nothing in return.

Who can take a rainbow
Put it in a church?
But when a Christian wants to pray, they make his dreams die
The Democrats Man
Oh the Democrat can
The Democrats can
'Cause they bitch about Bush
And they do absolutley nothing in return.

BRIDGE:
The Democrat fakes
Every story he makes
Defending America's wrong
According to this shlong
Allowing women to marry other butches.

Now who can take tomorrow
Make it seem like it won't appear
Like a prick like John Kerry really even cares
The Democrats, Man
'Cause they bitch about Bush
And they do absolutley nothing in return.

The Democrats, man fakes
Every story he makes
Satisfying Moore's fantasies
Now talk about your liberal wishes
Your hard earned money would be dished out.

Now who can take tomorrow
Make it seem like it won't appear
Like a prick like John Kerry really even cares
The Democrats, Man
'Cause they bitch about Bush
And they do absolutley nothing in return.

Democrats, Man
Democrats, Man
The song isn't that good, I admit, but it pretty much puts out there that the democrats have one issue, and that's the dislike of GWB by the liberal pacifist elite who are trying to recapture their youth by protesting a war against a region that's ironically against everything they're for.

DKTOS, so can't vote. I especially agree with you on the part about liberals thinking it is wrong to defend America. I find it disgusting how many people hate America in this country. I remember seeing a poster that said 'Saddam needs YOU anti-war heroes to keep his throne!' If we defend ourselves, or help other countries, it is called "bullying".
Michael Pacholek - June 05, 2004 - Report this comment
This is "absolutley" the worst parody I've ever seen here. It doesn't rhyme, it's not funny, and it's a piece of right-wing garbage. The Democrats have one issue? Let's see: The economy, that's one. The War On Terror, that's two. Gulf War II, that's three, and a little mixing in of numbers to further confuse the Midland Moron. Health care, that's four. Gas prices, that's five. Civil liberties, that's six. The environment, that's seven. Education, that's eight. The judiciary, that's nine. And there's honesty and competency in government, which I'm counting as one, so that's ten. Do I have to go on? Yes, to say that Bush has been wrong on ALL of them. And if you think liberals can't defend America, need I remind you the liberals were NOT in charge on 9/11. Unless you're so far to the right that you think Bush is liberal. Only with "our money," as he puts it. Well, "our money" is gone. And so are 800 of our troops, for what? John Kerry for President: He's earned it even if the opposition wasn't unforgivably bad.
Your Worst Nightmare - June 05, 2004 - Report this comment
Excuse me, MP, but he never said liberals were in charge in 9/11. Except maybe the ones working for Bin Laden.... No, just kidding. However, it seemed to disgust most liberals that Bush announced a War on Terror, instead of pardoning the poor, "misunderstood", group, and "feeling their pain", such as something Clinton might do. He didn't say liberals can't defend America. It's just that most liberals don't want America to defend itself.
Michael Pacholek - June 05, 2004 - Report this comment
Excuse you, YWM, but it seems liberals did a pretty good job of defending this country for eight years. When Bill Clinton took office, the World Trade Center stood. When he left office, the World Trade Center stood, and fewer American servicemen were dead in those years than in a typical month under Georgie. It was "conservatives" who sold weapons to... wait, I'm not allowed to say that, the man just died. But his VP, the dummy's daddy, still lives, and was a part of it. Don't tell me liberals can't defend this country. You think Nixon would've gotten Cuba right in October '62? Kennedy defended us then, and won. Who caused the most terrorist damage to America under Clinton? A native-born gun nut named McVeigh. And he was caught the same day and went to jail. How long has it been since Georgie said he would get bin Laden dead or alive?

Good parody!

MP...it's one issue because they blame EVERYTHING on Bush, and then pretend Clinton and Kerry are so great!

This song manages to be critical of Kerry, and make Bush supporters look dumb at the same time... music to my ears!
Robert J. Pagliaro - June 06, 2004 - Report this comment
Yes, this was terrible - substituting republicans for democrats would have been more accurate. Everything should be blamed on Bush - he's responsible. His unjustified war with Iraq is like an H&R Block commercial - Why did we invade Iraq? Reason number 15. Wake up, it was Bin Laden, stupid. Explain to me once again how the war with Iraq is defending America? Bush is like the Stepford President for the right-wing. Yes, Clinton was great. Yes, Kerry will do a much better job than Bush. The Republican platform? God and the Flag. "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?"
Your Worst Nightmare - June 07, 2004 - Report this comment
Oh, I see, Michael, you think that Bush is part of a conspiracy and is working for Bin Laden himself. *steps back a few paces*... Why do you think it is Bush's fault that terrorists would attack? I don't think it was either the democrats' or republicans' fault. I think it was Al Qaeda's fault. Except there was the fact that during the Clinton administration, it was decided that the FBI and the CIA couldn't contact each other, so when the FBI got the scoop of 9/11 before it happened, they couldn't tell the CIA and possibly prevent it.
The Mystery - June 07, 2004 - Report this comment
So, Michael, are you saying that if Bush left office for any reason and the attacks kept happening, that it would be the next presidents fault? There is no reason to believe that just because Bush went into office that he is the reason of the terrorists. I may not know a lot about politics, but what you're saying is a load of crap!

The terrorists may think that Bush is not as Clinton, so they can attack, but that doesn't mean that Bush is helping him or anything.

And if your wondering, The Mystery is Your Worst Nightmare's brother, and I won't be coming here often.
Al - June 07, 2004 - Report this comment
Not much of a mystery then.

I'd say so too... That would be my younger brother, politically uninformed, not in the sense that he is unreasonable besides the fact he watches trash like SpongeBob SquarePants, but in the sense that he doesn't pay much attention to the news. Sometimes his arguments are a little sloppy, but what he means is, basically the same thing I said earlier. When any kind of terrorists attack, it is not neccessarily the fault of the president.
Michael Pacholek - June 08, 2004 - Report this comment
Bush isn't working for bin Laden. His father's connection to the bin Laden family is well-established. Why is it Bush's fault that the terrorists attacked? It isn't, but they knew better than to attack when the smarter man was in charge. YWM's brother? Can we call you Jeb? Or would you rather be Neil?
Your Worst Nightmare - June 09, 2004 - Report this comment
*takes SEVERAL paces backward* Yeah...somehow I kind of doubt that Bush Senior has "connections" with the Bin Laden family... But then again, I was only an infant when he was president, so I don't really know much about the man. Besides the famous 'read my lips' approach. But what you are saying is pretty far-fetched. And I don't think terrorists really care who is president when they are attacking. Most people don't pay attention to foreign politics. And no, I think The Mystery is fine for him. Now, why is it that democrats all think that Jeb Bush rigged the Florida election? There were three recounts, since Al Gore, in an infantile manner, demanded them.

It is time everybody learns "politicianese".

Read my lips...NO MORE TAXES - Read my lips...MORE TAXES (coined by Bush Sr.)

I did not have relations with that woman. - I did have relations with that woman.
(coined by Clinton)
It's time for a smaller government, NOW. - I think I'll create a huge government. (coined by Bush Jr.)

Notice my ridicule of people left and right, which qualifies me to be a true political humorist. And I am not a crook, even in the past four score and seven years, so don't go misunderestimating me! ;-)

I realize I have been unfair by mocking two republicans and only one democrat. Here's another one.

I want to restore the economy. - I want to tax so much, until you're broke, and you'll rely on the government for everything, you infidel pig dogs! *pulls off his mask to reveal he is Saddam Hussein* (coined by John Kerry/Saddam Hussein)
