"All Greens"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I asked myself this: what would happen if i used a different color in this legendary jazz standard?
The lime, the sea, a cup of tea
The lime, the sea, a cup of tea
I'll know we're all greens
Myrtle moss jade all greens

Some greens are dark
But some are light
Olive or chartreuse
They're all greens
Forest, kelly, all greens

Fertility and rebirth
with chlorophyll

For jewelry it's emerald
It can also mean jealousy
You're sick and - you're green
Around the gills

Caladon pine fern spring
Shamrock for luck
Army camoflague

All shades of green are there;
Green paradise
They're all greens!

Talkin' 'bout the lime and the sea
Andi'm talkin' 'bout you and me
The lime, the sea
For you and me

And I know we're all greens
All shades,
All hues,
All greens

Lime, sea, cup of tea
See the sky, cup of tea
All Greens
All shades, all hues, all Greens

Comes off a little jaded.... (just kidding... great job with a novel idea--obviously you've been eating your spinach!)
