They delight in causing terror
But I reckon they harm their case
With basic science errors


Here's something I caught that seemed.. quite amusing:
That carbon is a greenhouse gas
That's not what I thought, must be.. so confusing
For "meeja" dead-heads,
Who've never seen a pencil lead

I regard
That carbon's hard
And has way more than gaseous mass
Where'd they get the notion
[It] dissolves in the ocean?

I heard on the news - they were very explicit
That carbon is a greenhouse gas
Newsreader confused, and it ain't clever, is it?
Calling graphite "gas"
Sounds like you're talking out your ass

You'd think they might
Get science right
But they always make errors, alas
When predicting high seas
And pan-global crises?

Some folks may suggest that they're being ironic
Say'n carbon in a greenhouse gas
To say it's a gas is, well, simply moronic
That should be revised:
It's gaseous when oxidised
CO2
Is gas, it's true
And they ought to have learned that in class
But they keep repeating
Like verbal excreting

Carbon!
Carbon!
(And not dioxide)
But carbon
Is a greenhouse gas!
