The Lyrics

If tomorrow all our bombs had gone,
To go and bomb Iraq
Our only hope for peace,
Is one hell of a nuclear attack.

I hate this war
And it's not that hard to explain why,
If one man should die,
I'd have to say Hussein.

I'm still proud to be an American,
Though Bush enrages me.
I don't want my friends to die,
So very needlessly.

And I'd gladly stand up,l
Next to you and bomb Saddam today,
'Cause I'm proud to be an American
And I love this land, God Bless the USA.

After that, it's back to our shining seas
And yet, we wonder why
Hussein ruled those Iraqies,
So oppressively.

I'm proud to be an American,
Though Bush enrages me.
I don't want my friends to die
So very needlessly.

And I'd gladly stand up,
Next to you and bomb Saddam today,
'Cause I'm proud to be an American
And I love this land, God Bless the USA.

This sounds suspiciously like my parody on this song "God(s) Bless the U.S.A". I'm not accusing you, but it does bear an uncanny likeness to mine.

John, I didn't know of your song, but after researching and comparing our two parodies...I see what you mean, I understand why you are suspicious of it.

I loved it, I thought it was patriotic enough for me!
