The Lyrics

Time to jump on the bandwagon (hearse?) and do a Halloween number or two. I like to use Christmas songs for my parodies. Now if only my wife would stop nagging me about the outdoor decorations! ;D

Have yourself a scary Halloween Night.
Have some witch's brew.
Be alert for monsters with no heads - or two!
Have yourself a spooky Halloween fright.
See the goblins dance.
Horrid ghosts are sure to make you wet your pants!

Vampire dudes like Count Dracula
Are "spectacula" - the best!
Pirate skel'tons in black and red,
Fifteen on a dead - man's chest!

By the moonlight zombies soon will gather.
Don't let them eat you!
Howling werewolves always know just what to do.
So have yourself a scary Halloween Night...........
......................................................................................
BOO!!!!!!

More to follow...stealthily in the shadows. ;D

I'm glad to see you squeezing some "candy" into your "bag" between the "Big 7" challenges. I like 'em short and sweet, with lots of tricks and treats, like this one that includes end-of-line / middle-of-next-line rhymes. 555

Cute, cuddly and canabalistic! Somehow I here Bing beltin' this more than Judy--reportedly , his personality was better suited to flesh eatin' too!

That was a good way to liven up those dreary Christmas songs, but I save mine for my favorite holiday - the 4th of July. Watch out that "Adlof Hitler" may show up on your front porch and have some pretzels ready. That happened to me and it was a hoot.

Though a tad simplistic, something about turning a beautiful Christmas song into a creepy Halloween song is just plain awesome!

LOL @ spectacula - this one must have been a doddle to do, coming straight after MG & AmPie

Same fave as AP. Never been into the Halloween genre myself, but this was greaTT. 555 BAD: Get up on the wrong side of bed today, at both ot OMR's? Think of it as a "smoosh of holidays" . At Christmas, OMR can do Halloween songs ... oh, wait, there aren't any..... :-D

Barry J. MItchell: Thanks for the heads-up!
OMR: You did MG, and didn't give me a heads-up when no v/c from moi? Wouldn't miss it for all the Tea Party's china! (My weeks start on Tuesdays. Tearing all Mondays off the calendar was the best thing I've ever done. :-D

Turning a mellow yuletide tune into a Hallows Eve tribute...Very nicely done!...And it kinda makes sense, conseidering both holidays involve filling (and emptying) sacks. 555 squashed pumpkins. (Hey! A Smashing Pumpkins parody about Halloween isn't a bad idea!) :)
