"Slow Worm"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Grow little slow worm, bigger, bigger
You're not enough to tempt a chigger,
Grow for my girlfriend, dear sweet Millie
Don't dunce the deal, make me feel silly
She'll soon return with her lips pucky
We got a good chance to get lucky
Don't let those two drinks stop blood flow..
Just grow little slow worm, grow..

Hey there, appendage, be not shy sir,
Peak like a Yellowstone-ish geyser
Show confidence and cool select style
Up on your high horse, notch erectile
Banish that image, weak and wimpy
You need to shape up, posed and primpy,
It's opening night of your big show..
So, grow little slow worm, grow..

Wake up you lazy lifeless humper
Stand tall and be an uptown jumper
No time to vanish vim and vigor,
Turn into rock and cock your trigger,
We're gonna' have a grand ol' high time
Millie's come back, c'mon it's thigh time,
I'll be the loveboat, you can row..
So, grow little slow worm, grow

Grow little slow worm grow

Grow little slow worm grow

AFW - Fine job. I associate this song with The Mills Brothers, but it makes sense that Johnny Mercer wrote the new lyrics. Frank Loesser wrote a similar song which applies to me for 1952's Hans Christian Andersen...Inch Worm! ;D

Thanks, OMR...Yeah, Mills Bros. and others have covered it over the years. Yes, I know the song you mention, Inch Worm, by Frank L. also a great classic....and thanks, John...good pun on the line.
