The Lyrics

An evil soul named Adam Lanza
Dreamed of doing harm
He took out of an unlocked box
His mother's firearms
Dressed in war clothes - and combat boots
He smashed his hard drive down
Left his mother dead, could not cry out

Don't take my guns to school, son
Don't make children die, son
Don't take my guns to school

He grabbed his mothers keys
And said I'll prove that I'm a man
I can shoot and kill more kids
Than anybody can
He said I'll become a famous name
Then gunned his mother down
Still her soul cried out as he drove away

Don't take my guns to school, son
Let the children live, son
Don't take my guns to school

His eyes burned hate as on, he drove
With guns and ammo clips
He reached the school there in Newtown
And tighter grew his lips
He parked and walked up to the door
Was locked, he fired a round
Heard not his mothers words echo again

Don't take those guns to school, son
Don't make people die, son
Don't use those guns to kill

Dressed dark in body armor
Battle ready, as he'd planned
His cold AR Fifteen,
At shoulder, and in hand
Two heavy handguns by his side
Prepared for deadly sound
If he'd heard, did not heed his mothers words

Don't take your guns to school, son
Turn around, go home, son
Don't shoot those guns in school

Filled with rage, then
Adam walked into the first grade class
Aimed his deadly weapon at each child,
The massacre was fast
As teachers rushed to be a shield
In front of them, they're found
One self-inflicted final shot..
Then silence..was the sound

You took the guns to school, son
Those guns weren't meant to kill, son
You took my guns to school

Sorry I missed this yesterday. Some minds are just so warped they can't be reached. Those of the killers and those of the politicians who exploit their atrocities for political purposes. Reflects the sentiments of the original song perfectly.
