Parody Song Title:

"Where is my Swine?"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

You kept a close watch on that pig of mine
I had a feeling you would like to dine
And now that bacon's smellin pretty fine
Why must I pine--where is my swine?

You said you'd love to cure a great big hunk of ham
You were tired of eating hashbrowns and fried Spam
Now without an oinking noise, alone I am
Why must I pine--where is my swine?

Just as sure as day is light and night is black
My little cuddly friend ain't comin' back
Cause you've got the poor thing curing in a sack
Why must I pine--where is my swine?

You've found a way to stock up on some chops
And they ain't from lambs, you walkin' hunk of slop
I hope you eat so much you've gotta pop
Why must I pine--where is my swine?

Royce strikes again, but if you really want to know where the swine is, he's at Fenway, Number 45 in your program.

PS Merry--If I had to do it over again, I'd have named this "I Want My Swine"--more in keeping with the original title-

Royce, I'd agree completely with that last comment - just sung it through as both (having only just listened to the original), and "I want my swine" comes out just right. Not wanting to be a boar, or make a pig of myself, or even hog the stage... but I thought it was funny: you could always do a sequel from the pig's point of view: I ham what I ham (or something like that)

Very good Royce and I agree with Phil. Also, since Michael never answered I'll tell you I was born in Chicago and a Cub fan for years (mostly the eighties) so I have been watching a little. That eighth inning last night? Those were the Cubs I remember.

Claude--no I don't guess Michael would be expecting a sports question from me, but thanks for your input, and I was pulling for the Cubs; now I'm for whoever plays the Marlins. You're a gentleman and a scholar, Claude.
